Marine Elevators

We are highly skilled elevator technician/engineers specialising in marine elevators.

Hampshire Lift Services are experienced in working on cruise ships, freight carriers, oil tankers, ferries, yachts, etc, all on an international basis, however the majoirty of our work is in Europe.

We have experience in all aspects of maintenance and repairs, including parameters programming, fault finding, trouble shooting, changing steel wires, V sheaves, testing and annual safety inspections, etc, etc.

In addition to these services, we issue all relevant certification.

Personal Profile

I have served my Apprenticeship with Kone Lifts, including Testing and Inspection, and have full knowledge, across the board, of Elevators and Escalators, Stair Elevators including Installation, and Repairs. I have also dealt with Insurance Reports, and S.A.F.E.D. Inspections.  

       
I have worked on Gearless, Frequency Drives, and Techo's, Amron Drives, Full Analogue Relays Systems, Micro - Processors e.g. Hyundai, Lester Controls, Kleemans, Eronna, Mitsubishi, Gammer etc.; Traction, Hydraulics, and all types of Elevators and aspects of Elevators engineering. With 45yrs of exp.  

Apprenticeship

Studied a 3 year ONC & HNC equivalent in "Elevators & Escalators" whilst serving a 5 year apprenticeship with Kone Lift Co. Ltd., which included testing & inspection of lifts & escalators.

September 1971 - 1972

Qualifying as a "Tester"
